Crazy Drunk Assholes

So, It's 2:30 am and I'm finishing up this weeks podcast when I hear a car screech around the corner in front of my aparment. Shortly after I hear the load crash of what can only be cars running into each other. I ran outside onto the patio to watch a black truck (some said it was a Ford Explorer) go into reverse, pulling itself free from the small white pickup it ran into while smashing into the small red pick up behind it. Then it peeled off down the street and made a right onto El Camino. I went outside to join the crowd of people that was forming. There are skid marks on the grass, a white pick up with its front end smashed in and pushed into the middle of the street and the side of the small red pick up that was parked in front of it bashed in.

There is now almost 2 car length of empty curb where I'm sure there was none before. Regretably, I wasn't able to see the plates as the car drove off but it sounds like some other people saw some paint company stickers on the back of the car. It wouldn't surprise me if the guy lives in my apartment complex. I think enough people saw and heard what happened that he will probably get caught. But if you see a newer model black Ford truck with big white stickers for a painting company and a smashed up front end and drivers side write down the license plate and let me know.

Wowee Zowee... Sickeningly Hypnotizing

Here's a site with direct links to "You Tube" files of banned cartoons from the 20s, 30s, and 40s.

Some of them aren't a big deal, but some are just dowright wrong.

Cheese Friday: Don't call it a comeback!

Yeah, I'm back today. Or should I say this morning? Thank the render gods for granting me this time with you.

Don't think just cuz I haven't been posting the gospel, Cheese Friday was gone. Cheese Friday is bigger than you and me. It exists on it's own, with or without me. It's not about me.

So the Grilled Cheese Virgin Mary is back in the "news" again. If you like scary older women that are missing their front teeth, this is for you.
The clip is worth watching to see the tattoo artist. She looks like Lauren Sanchez' younger hotter sister. Awesome.

Cheese Ketchup:
New world record.
Star Wars Dick Cheese.
You eat 31.3 lbs o'Cheese a year.
Bad heart? Eat some Cheese.
No Cheese for me, I'll have the shit sandwich...
and finally,
It should have been me.

Or You Could Just Go To Chicago...

The Chicago Internation REEL Shorts Film Festival, which in the interest of preventing carpal tunnel syndrome I call CIRSF (sirf) is having a screening in the Los Angeles area, which is much closer for most of you.

July 1st, 6:15pm.

Beverly Hills Fine Arts Theatre
8556 Wilshire Blvd.
Beverly Hills, CA 90211
(310) 360-0455
Tickets FREE

They will be showing one of the more popular programs from last year's event and it should be a lot of fun. The Beverly Hills Fine Arts Theatre is a beautiful venue and it's worth the trip alone just to see the place. Plus it's in Beverly Hills, which on all acounts is quite a nice burg.

Go see Superman early (or late), the theaters are going to be packed all weekend, go see some indie shorts and feel like a patron of the arts.

Requiem for Cheese Friday

Let's talk about the elephant in the room.

There hasn't been a Cheese Friday post in some time. Mr. DNA has been busy with his charges and unable to scour the interweb for queso-tastic content. His column will resume when he has established that magical balance of tasks and duties.

However this Friday could not pass without fromagity.

I declare today, Nacho Libre Friday. May there be days of free nachos for all in our lifetime. We must work to keep the dream alive.

Man down. Podcast delayed...

Hey there loyal readers.
Jason (aka Mr. Kamikaze) got a little poorly on Sunday night and spent some time in the ER yesterday. Please join me in wishing him a speedy recovery from what sounds like a particularly vicious stomache flu.

The Thursday Knight Noise #5: The Funcast
is delayed until his recovery (or I can post it myself).

We are changing our podcast hosting set-up to use podOmatic, our RSS subscribers should re-direct their podcast aggregators accordingly, the new RSS feed will be http://smartpatrolnoise.podomatic.com/rss2.xml.

Our web based audience will still be able to enjoy the show (pictures and sound) with the podcast appearing in a separate pop-up window.

All in all I'd say that the podcast experience is about to get a whole lot poddier™.

thePrisoner (the poddiest)

UPDATE: Podcast listeners who utilize our RSS feed (which is cool) got a surprise in their aggregator today. Please consider subscribing to the feed to get more super exclusive content... it's not necessarily better, it's just exclusive.

What To Do...

I have contracted this "Transponder DL.MAX" thing on my computer and it's f**king everything up along with not going away.

Spybot = no good
Adaware = no help
Microsoft Antispy = found something, deleted it, came right back
Counterspy = found something, deleted it, came right back.

A window thing pops up once a minute and then redirects whatever I'm doing to this Antispywarebox.com site (Don't go there).

I have no idea how I got this thing for sure, but I really need to either get rid of it or scrap this computer and start new.

Am I "Puterf**ked" or is there something else (for real) I can do about this.

I have to stop now the things popping back up again - GODAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(P.S - I got the thing solved with the help of Prisoner. If anyone has this problem I have the way to get rid of it. It's a BIT LENGTHY, BUT IT SEEMS TO HAVE WORKED. ANYWAY, THANKS FOR THE HELP)

(P.P.S. - I didn't mean to have caps lock on but I'm too lazy to re-type it, so... o.k. then)
