I would agree with your post if you had added that there is still room for improvement.Also this was a propaganda film made during a war.However I was confused, was Charlie Chan the bad guy in that movie?
Yeah sure things could always be better - but its good to see progress. You have to recognize some kind of positivity there.It was supposed to be from the Japanese point of view / how they view America and Americans.Wacky stuff.
