Nintendo Wee.

No, seriously. She did what?

(from Gizmodo)

The radio station where the infamous "Hold Your Wee for a Wii" contest took place (KDND-FM) is now facing a lawsuit from the victim's family. This comes just two days after 10 station employees were fired, so fired for their involvement in the woman's death.

The lawsuit appears to hinge on the fact that the on-air personalities knew of the dangers of drinking so much water in such a short period of time. It looks like the majority of you would agree with this latest development.

This lady drank so much water that she died.
At first I thought there was something funny about this story and clearly there is not. Jennifer Strange's death was completely avoidable and (as far as we know at this time) accidental. No one is going to argue that this is not tragic, she was a wife and mother and her family are sure to feel the impact of her loss for a great deal of time. However as a wife and mother didn't she have an even greater responsibility to not needlessly jeopardize her safety, health or well being?

She got 2nd place!
A pair of Justin Timberlake tickets!
Can her next of kin pick them up at will call?

That's the most pathetic thing ever!

Sitting by the phone trying to be caller #50 is one thing, but good lord woman! Didn't you have a job, or kids to raise or something?

Everyone who got fired at the radio station will be getting off easy if that's all that happens to them.
