This is your TV's 'Special Purpose'

When Socrates wasn't helping the students of San Dimas High School with their history reports he was creating a philosophy of thought, he examined life, and that (along with the toga party) is his legacy.

This American Life is an excellent radio show and a pretty damn good television show on the Showtime network, it examines life. Often with the unnerving talent of presenting the human condition from an outsider's perspective. Needless to say, I love it.

This is what Reality TV should be, real, actual and not sensationalised
