Skype is VoIP or internet telephony, or the phone but with your computer. I've been trying to get you guys to start playing with it for some time. Today I read this:
SKYPE OUT IS FREE
SkypeOut is the feature of Skype that would let you call a phone, a real phone, a landline if you will, and now it's free.
If you don't have a landline, or don't have long distance, it's worth a try.
